第四章 有一种真情叫关爱（7）
之后，他告诉我他身上发生的事，以及他昏迷的原因。我们都哭了，相互拥抱着说了再见，又踏上了各自的路。
虽然自此以后，我再没见过他，但他使我的心每天都充满快乐。我知道，在他徘徊在生死边缘时，我起了特别的作用。更重要的是，他使我的生命有了巨大改变。我永远无法忘记他，以及他为我所做的事：他使我成了一个天使。
volunteer, present, propose
这些动词均含“提出、提供”之意。
volunteer 侧重出于自愿，而不是奉命做某事。
例：He volunteered to water our plants.
他自告奋勇给我们的树木浇水。
present既可指提出意见、建议等，又可指拿出某物供人欣赏或赠送。
例：We presented him a basketball on his birthday.
他生日那天我们送给他一个篮球。
propose一般指直接而主动地提出问题或建议。
例：I propose resting for an hour.
我建议休息一小时。
